Monica L. Cost is a professional motivational speaker, founder of the Now You See Me Foundation, and the author of A Finish Line Interrupted. A former competitive athlete and IRONMAN® finisher, Monica's life took a dramatic turn in 2012 when a severe cycling accident left her with a 2% chance of ever walking again.

 

Over the following decade, she navigated twenty-one surgeries, a secondary spinal injury, and an aggressive breast cancer diagnosis. Refusing to be defined by these "interruptions," Monica dedicated herself to the grueling process of physical and spiritual reconstruction. Today, she uses her platform to empower others to find strength in their own wreckage and redefine what it means to be whole. She lives in Texas, with her husband Chris and dog Zoe where she continues to advocate for resilience and community engagement through her foundation and annual endurance events.
